Parents
We know that the topics we talk about are edgy and controversial. Though we do protect the confidentiality of the expressions of teens and young adults, we take our role seriously.
All our adult volunteers are background screened and asked to agree to our standards of proper teen interaction to protect the children. Copies of this agreement are available by request.
Though we have 3 parent/volunteer meetings every year and 2 community open house events, parents are always welcome to contact us at any time or make arrangements to visit and sit in on a YASO Gathering. We feel that parental transparency is essential and this can be done without violating teen confidentiality.
Volunteers
We can always use more adult volunteers to be available for teens and young adults as mentors, friends, and trusted advisors. Please feel free to contact us with your interest.
